The North Shuswap’s largest and most popular summer event will be in high gear beginning in July with five terrific high-energy bands, great food trucks, and a night market, all happening again at the same location as last year across from the provincial park in Scotch Creek. New for this year is our fantastic website built by the North Shuswap fabulous tech company, inTechrity. This website is filled with information about each group with links to their websites and a link to a Spotify playlist featuring many of the bands. There are also details about our organization, our sponsors, the food trucks and venders, plus a growing archival section.
Kicking off our season on July 3rd, will be the Vancouver based alt-pop and progressive soul group, Best Night Ever, known for their impressive shows filled with passionate vocals and smooth, hip instrumentals. Kelowna based iNSTARiO was a big hit last year in Blind Bay and they will be here on July 10 to play some great classic rock, pop and dance tunes. Then on July 17th, we will be treated to former Guess Who recording artist Donnie McDougall’s new rock band, The Guess Whooligans, blasting his classic hits.
On July 24th it will be time for country music with Kelowna’s popular recording artists, Dirt Road Opera bringing their original, award-winning music to our stage. Kicking off the long weekend on July 31st will be Kamloops favourite funk band, Soul Patch, with their unique blend of original and classic rock music.
